RATE & DUTY CUTS

• Repo rate has been reduced by 50 basis points to 5 percent.
• Reverse repo rate has also reduced by 50 basis points to 3.5 percent.
• Service tax has been reduced to 10%
• Excise duty has been reduced from 10% to 8% for the entire category.
