EDUCATION LOAN LIMIT EXTENDED TO RS. 20 LAKHS

As per the draft guidelines on priority sector issued by the Reserve Bank of India, banks can now grant up-to Rs. 20 lakh as education loan to students for studying abroad and Rs. 10 lakh to individuals for studies in India. The earlier limits were Rs. 15 lakh and Rs. 7.5 lakh respectively.
