COMPULSORILY PAYMENT OF STAMP DUTY THROUGH ELECTRONIC MODE
The 1st day of April, 2010, shall be the effective date, for a company to compulsorily make payment
electronically for stamp duty in respect of all the States which have authorized to the Central Government to collect stamp duty on their behalf. In respect of the States from whom the authorization is yet to be received, the company shall continue to pay stamp duty outside the MCA portal.
