BANKS CAN'T LEND TO JEWELLERS FOR PURCHASE OF GOLD

After putting curbs on Non-Banking Finance Companies (NBFCs) lending against gold, the
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has banned banks from lending for purchase of gold by jewelers.
