SAT UPHOLDLS SEBI ORDER ON NO CHARGES FOR CHANGING DP

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) recently upheld Sebi’s order directing the depositories and their participants not to levy transaction charges when an investor transfers his securities from one depository participant (DP) to another at the time of closure of DP account.
