CBEC MULLS SERVICE TAX RELIEF FOR ONSCREEN SERVICES OF BOURSES

Stock and commodity exchanges could be on their way to getting some relief on service tax. The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) is examining whether onscreen services provided by stock and commodity exchanges to their members are taxable or not.
