ADVANCE FBT PAID TO BE ADJUSTED AGAINST I-T

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has decided that any installment or advance tax paid in
respect of fringe benefits for assessment year (AY) 2010-11 would be treated as advance income-tax paid by the assessee for AY 2010-11.
