The CBDT notified a committee headed by chief
commissioner of income tax (international
taxation), West Zone, Mumbai, for examine
applications made under Rule 10VA. This rule
comes under Section 9A of the Income Tax Act
that provides special regime in respect of offshore
funds having fund managers located in India.
This has been implemented since April 1.
