The Central Drug Standard Control Organisation
(CDSCO) is drawing up a new inspection model
for pharmaceutical manufacturing sites that will
help identify compliance issues and products that
can be potentially harmful. The move follows
concerns raised by foreign drug regulators over
quality of medicines produced in India.
