GST rollout unlikely before 2014: Parthasarathi Shome

Parthasarathi Shome, one of the architects of the proposed goods and service tax, does not expect
the government to implement GST regime before 2014 as the next Lok Sabha election may delay
preparations for the eagerly awaited tax reform.
