Lahiri Panel to Interact with Businesses on Tax Laws

The Government has set up a high-level committee led by former Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) in the Finance Ministry, Ashok Lahiri, to interact with the trade and industry on tax laws. The committee will function from Janpath hotel in the capital. The panel has invited various industry chambers and other stakeholders to present their views on tax laws.
